Come learn to rock climb along the Continental Divide!
Tour Further offers a wide array of backcountry hikes and rock climbing adventures for all ages and abilities. Rock climbing days involve knot and rope basics, fundamental climbing techniques and provide a mental training ground to allow beginning climbers to grasp the challenges associated with travel through 5th class terrain. Climbing adventures are ideal for small and large groups, organisations in search of team building strategies and families wanting to create trusting relationships.
Additionally, we provide guided day long treks and hiking adventures for families and groups who prefer to have the security of a guide while ascending alpine peaks such as Quandary near Breckenridge, Buffalo Mountain in Silverthorne or Black Mountain adjacent to Arapahoe Basin ski resort. Reaching the summit of a mountain is a rewarding achievement that offers personal satisfaction and panoramic views of countless fourteen-thousand foot peaks within central and northern Colorado. Treks generally take 2 to 4 hours of well-paced hiking to gain remote mountain summits.
Privately guided climbing and hiking days begin at $150 and include gear such as climbing shoes, harnesses and helmets. Please email
