Mendoza

altWhether arriving from Argentina or Chile, the central town of Mendoza is the ideal meeting place to begin your South American ski adventure from. Mendoza is the heart of Argentina's wine region, and is only 4 hours from the Chilean boarder to the West or an easy half-day bus ride down south to Las Lenas. However, given that the famed Chilean ski resort of Portillo is just across the boarder, this is an ideal way to spend some time with your guide before heading for the more expansive and aggressive slopes that Las Lenas offers. More so, spending some time on the Continental Divide gazing at South America's tallest peak Cerro Aconcaqua (6,960 meters), while cat-skiing, will be an unforgettable part of your adventure. Again, Tour Further considers Mendoza to be a perfect starting point for any trip: we will reserve altlodging at a quaint hostel or hotel, provide personal transport with comfortable passenger vans or most importantly our guides will eliminate any stress factors associated with international travel by quickly familiarising clients with the town of Mendoza, helping to acquire any additional gear that may be needed and provide a laid-back atmosphere filled with laughter and red wine. Come check out Mendoza and experience the gateway to the Andes for yourself. Please contact David for the summer of 2010 schedule This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
